Online modules

Faba Konzepte provides information on the benefits of a plant-based diet in online modules. These are published in cooperation with NAHhaft e.V.. Argumentation workshops based on this information support people who are committed to the food system transformation.

The current food system is characterised by a high consumption of animal products and is therefore responsible for a large consumption of land and serious environmental and climate impacts. In order to create a sustainable food system, it is crucial to reduce the consumption of animal products and strengthen plant-based diets. A plant-based diet is more environmentally friendly and reduces greenhouse gas emissions and animal suffering.

As part of the “Online modules & workshops for the food transition” project, we will summarise scientific facts on the role of animal products and plant-based diets in a compact and understandable way and make them available in an appealing format. The information on the topics of “environment”, “climate” and “animal suffering” will be published in the “Ressourcenpool” of NAHhaft e.V.’s “Plattform Ernährungswandel” and on our homepage. We also present model projects that show in practice how the food transition can be tackled by citizens. The content is distributed on social media and through argumentation workshops for multipliers. In addition to imparting knowledge, the workshops offer extensive space for networking between the various stakeholders.

The project is being carried out in cooperation with the non-profit organisation NAHhaft e.V., which has many years of experience with projects in the field of food transition.

The project started in March 2024 and is scheduled to run for one year. You will receive updates here on the website, via our social media channels and our newsletter.

The project is financed by Deutsche Postcode Lotterie.

The modules will initially only be published in German. An English translation is not yet planned.
